The Palestinian terror group Hamas launched an attack on Israel last month in October. Israeli actress Gal Gadot, known for being Wonder Woman, has shared multiple posts over the last few weeks on her Instagram and said how these people’s lives changed forever, and how they needed help. Her first post read- “At least 250 Israeli have been murdered and dozens of women children and elders held as hostages in Gaza, by Palestinian military group Hamas. Starting early morning more than 3,000 rockets were fire. Hamas is holding hostages, controlling bases and settlements in Israel. There have been more than 1,500 injured and heavy fighting is still ongoing. “I hear their voices and they are banging on the door. I am with my two little children. My heart is aching Praying for all of those in pain.”
The actress is now taking another initiative. She shall be organising a screening of a 47-minute documentary provided by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that shows the atrocities committed on the Israeli communities to bring global attention to the ongoing conflict in Israel and the Gaza Strip. More details of the screening The screening shall be taking place in Los Angeles as well as New York. The initiative has been taken by many Hollywood Jews as well as Israeli-American Oscar-winning director Guy Nattiv. Statement by Guy Nattiv In a recent statement, the filmmaker said how these brutal images should not be forgotten. “As a filmmaker, I swore that these images of October 7 would not be forgotten, and the world would see them. Because now the denial begins - it is a fake, it is not a fake. We cannot pass by in silence,” he said. The screening is likely to see over 120 people, and given the brutality that the documentary portrays, it could be a jolting experience to witness the documentary.
