Is Wamiqa Gabbi the new Dharma heroine? Karan Johar reportedly brings her on board opposite Bhuvan Bam

Wamiqa Gabbi, who was last seen with Varun Dhawan in Baby John, is reportedly on board for a Karan Johar film that will see Bhuvan Bam opposite her.

Described as a light-hearted romantic comedy packed with humor, sharp dialogues, and warm family moments, the film is tentatively titled “Kuku Ki Kundali” and will also mark Bhuvan Bam’s silver screen debut. He commands a tremendous following in the digital space with fans all over the world and his acting ventures with projects like Taaza Khabar have established him as a serious actor.

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are coming together for their seventh film called Bhooth Bangla. Their previous collaborations are H_era Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhaag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan_, and Khatta Meetha. This horror-comedy is all set to release on April 2, 2026.

The actor has wrapped up the shooting of the film and has now announced through a video on Instagram where he and his leading lady Wamiqa Gabbi are shooting a song against the backdrop of a waterfall.

He wrote- “And that’s a wrap on  #BhoothBangla ! My seventh madcap adventure with the ever-inventive Priyan sir, my second outing with the unstoppable Ekta, and my first but hopefully not the last, magical journey with the ever-surprising Wamiqa.
