Following her scintillating performance at Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Rihanna was spotted at the airport earlier this morning. The pop star visibly took the Internet by storm and rightly so! The pop sensation even won hearts for her down-to-earth demeanour and sweet gestures during her interaction with paparazzi as they asked her to pose for the camera.
For her airport arrival, the pop singer dressed in a pink outfit elevating it with a blue scarf and black embellished footwear. With a souvenir from the event in her hand, she happily posed for the shutterbugs and even indulged in a candid conversation with them. When asked about her experience in India and the show at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, she gracefully replied, “I love India. The show was the best. I haven’t done a real show in eight years. So, I wanna come back."
While she posed for the shutterbugs, a few of them even requested her to click photos with her. Rihanna sweetly obliged their request and struck a pose for the camera with her hand on the shoulders of the paparazzi.
In another video from her performance at the event on March 1, she can be seen congratulating the soon-to-be wedded couple on their “union”. Amidst her performance, she took a moment to congratulate them and even express gratitude to the Ambani family for inviting her. She said, “Good evening everyone! It’s my honour to be here tonight. I have never been to India. Thanks to the Ambani family, I’m here tonight. Anant and Radhika, thank you for having me here. God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations.”
Scheduled from March 1-3, the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant promise to be a lavish affair with many renowned celebrities from different sectors attending the events. For those uninitiated, Radhika is the younger daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant. Anant and Radhika will be exchanging vows later this year.
