Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave up their ‘Royal’ title few years back and shocked fans and critics alike. Ever since then, they have been under media and public scrutiny. From their recent trip to Nigeria to a much-publicised Netflix documentary, the couple continues to stay in the spotlight.
And the royal commentator Jane Barr has something to add about the Duchess of Sussex and what exactly her dreams and aspirations were after she stepped down from her ‘Royal’ title back in 2020. In his newsletter ‘From Berkshire to Buckingham,’ he revealed she could have been enjoying the spotlight that came her way.
“Meghan wanted to take her HRH and her title and be a superstar in her own sphere on the international stage,” Barr states adding, “this would be wholly separate from the control of the Crown."
Prince William and Prince Harry’s siblings Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, on the other hand, were rather reclusive. Did this irk Markle? “Looking back to Megxit, Harry was not just the grandson of the Queen, the same relationship all his cousins had to the sovereign, he was the son of the future King,” said the aforementioned author.
After the success of their Nigeria tour, the couple plans to include their children Archie and Lilibet with them on their future International tours. It’s being said this would be a boost to their brand.
“ Harry and Meghan are incredibly proud of their children, and when they are a little older and better able to travel, there is no doubt they will be taken on some of the couple’s tours,” said Tom Quinn in his exclusive talk with the UK outlet.
It was a few years back when Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle gave up their royal titles and it ended up creating shockwaves across the globe. Ever since then, there have been multiple reports of rift between Harry and his father King Charles III. And now, a new report says Markle is worried her children Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, may blame her for depriving them of a ‘Royal’ life.
