Val Kilmer, best known for playing Batman and Jim Morrison, passed away on April 1 in Los Angeles at 65. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer said the cause of death was pneumonia. She also revealed he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014 but recovered.
