Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya’s appearance on Koffee with Karan season 6 drew a lot of criticism for his ‘misogynist’, ‘sexist’ and ‘racist’ remarks. On Wednesday, Pandya issued an apology on his Twitter account, stating that he got a bit carried away by the nature of the show.

His apology comes days after the episode featuring him and KL Rahul on the popular celebrity talk show hosted by Karan Johar. On the show, Pandya narrated an incident where he was out partying with his parents and revealed that he had told his parents about the women he had a “scene” with. “And I actually had to tell them.
