Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam starrer HAQ trailer is out, and it has struck a chord with the audiences not only for its power-packed plot, but also for its hard-hitting dialogues, the film is all set for its release this 7th November. HAQ is produced by Junglee Pictures, known for acclaimed creations like Raazi, Badhaai Ho and Badhaai Do and Directed by Suparn S Varma. The recently released trailer gives a peek into a plot that involves love, betrayal, and the clash of religion and justice.
Ever since the trailer released, its dialogues have ignited conversations around gender, religion, and justice in contemporary India. Whether it’s the court sequence or the divorce sequence, every dialogue gives a generous peek into the inner conflicts of the characters. The film talks about faith, identity, liberalism and policy and law - the Uniform Civil Code Act under Article 44. It highlights the uncompromising courage of a mother, whose fight for justice is not personal, but universal.
Produced by Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, HAQ is set to release in theatres on 7th November 2025. It is directed by one of the most dynamic directors today in the industry Suparn S Varma (creator of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, The Family Man, Rana Naidu), and written by Reshu Nath. Strengthening the talent roster of HAQ are actors Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain, Vartika Singh, and Aseem Hattangady.
