'Had never seen anyone so striking, felt inspired': Shah Rukh Khan on Bobby Deol's grand debut in Barsaat

Shah Rukh Khan’s pride as a father and warmth as a friend shone through at the glittering launch of Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, hosted in Mumbai.

With a smile tinged with nostalgia, SRK recalled Bobby’s debut nearly three decades ago: “When Bobby was making his debut in Barsaat with Twinkle, I had never seen anyone so striking. I still remember him in those blue sunglasses, before the film released… I felt inspired that day. Since then, we have been close, and through happy times and hard ones, Bobby has stood by me. He’s a genuine superstar, and above all, a genuine friend.”
