It was an evening the world may not forget anytime soon. First it was filmmaker Steven Spielberg, and now it is the holy Dalai Lama, who has won his first Grammy.  Yes, we are talking about the Grammy Awards 2026.

This has to do with Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, his spoken-word album.

The accolades for the album

The album received the award for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Other nominees in the category included Kathy Garver, Trevor Noah, US Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Fab Morvan.
