Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s divorce rumours have been making rounds on social media for quite some time now. While earlier, the couple’s family friend and lawyer Lalit Bindal said that duo had filed for divorce but are now back together, Sunita has finally reacted to the ongoing scenario.
“Positive hai ya negative hai. Positive hai mujhe pata hai. Mai sochti hu kuttey hai log bhaukenge” (Whether it’s positive or negative… I know it’s positive. I think people are like dogs — they will bark), said Sunita, addressing the criticism while talking to ABP.
“Jab tak aap mere ya Govinda ke muh se kuch na sun lo toh aap yeh mat socho kya hai kya nahi hai” (Until you hear it from my mouth or Govinda’s, don’t believe anything), she added.
“We also travelled to Nepal during the New Year and performed puja together at Pashupati Nath Mandir. Everything is fine between them now. Such things keep happening between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together," Lalit had told India Today in February.
“Like when she said mujhe Govinda jaisa pati nahi chaiye (I don’t want Govinda as my husband in next birth), she did add that she wanted a son like him. Or when she said that he was with his own valentine, she meant he was working. It is unfortunate that people are only talking negatively about them when the couple is together, and I can assure that they will always be. No divorce is going to happen," he added.
Earlier, Sunita revealed that she and Govinda are living separately, which left fans shocked and disappointed. “We have two houses, we have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat whereas he gets late after his meetings. He loves talking so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Whereas me, my son and my daughter live together, but we hardly talk because I feel if you end up wasting your energy by talking too much," said Sunita while talking to Pinkvilla Hindi Rush.
