The coolest person with all smiles, during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with his family, interacted with the media and said, “I don’t accept work easily. But the people who think I’m not getting work, I would like to tell them ‘Mujhpe kripa hai Bappa ki’ (Lord Ganesh’s blessings are upon me.) I have left projects worth Rs 100 crore last year."

He added that he was slapping himself in front of the mirror because he was not signing any projects. The actor revealed that the filmmakers were offering a lot of money but he did not want to do any random roles. He wanted something of at par with the level that he has set in the past.

Earlier, after the massive success of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2, Ameesha Patel told an entertainment news portal that director Anil Sharma originally wanted Mamta Kulkarni and Govinda as Sakina and Tara Singh. She said, “I was cast as Sakina by Zee, not Mr Anil Sharma. For me, Gadar was always about Sunny, and for Zee and in fact, Nitin Keni was the reason I was in Gadar part 1. Anil Sharma preferred Mamta Kulkarni over me and wanted Govinda as Tara, but Zee wanted Sunny.”
