Golden Globes 2019: Twitter questions Bohemian Rhapsody's win, criticises Best Actress snub to Lady Gaga
Twitter is surprised at Lady Gaga's loss for Best Performance in motion picture to Glenn Close. Also the mention of Bryan Singer's mention with regard to Bohemian Rhapsody is drawing criticism.

The end of Golden Globes 2019 has bought some surprising reactions on Twitter. In a weird twist, Lady Gaga did not win Best Performance by An Actress in a Motion Picture at the 2019 Golden Globes for her role in A Star Is Born. (She did, however, win Best Original Song for 'Shallow'). Actress Glenn Close took home the award for her role in The Wife.
Close was surprised at her win as well.

Best Film in the Drama category went to the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which was also at the end of criticism. Its director, Bryan Singer, has been accused of raping 17-year-old Cesar Sanchez-Guzman in 2003. Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody weeks before filming ended, and was replaced by Dexter Fletcher. However, due to industry regulations, Singer was still credited as director. Netizens criticized on social media for the recognition given to Bohemian Rhapsody.
