Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s old interview on Salman Khan goes viral: ‘My aim is to kill him, if he wants an apology, he should…’ | Flashback Thursday

Lawrence Bishnoi, alias Balkaran Barar, is a 31-year-old gangster from Punjab’s Ferozepur district. He comes from a well-off family of agriculturalists. After his schooling up to Class 12, Bishnoi moved to Chandigarh and enrolled in Panjab University’s DAV College.

Bishnoi has been threatening Salman Khan for a long time now and the assassination of politician Baba Siddique only makes matters worse.

In an interview that has gone viral, Bishnoi tells a reporter the aim of his life is to kill Salman Khan. He then says if he wants an apology, he should visit their Bishnoi temple and bow down his head.

Amid the chaos, a video of Vivek Oberoi has gone viral.

Oberoi said, “The Bishnoi community has such a beautiful culture; it should be spread across the world for everyone to learn and appreciate.”

The actor added, “When we read the story of Amrita Devi, tears came to our eyes. A film should be made to honor their sacrifices and the way they have instilled these values in future generations.”

Salman Khan on Sunday paid homage to close friend Baba Siddique at the late NCP leader’s house in Bandra. Siddique, 66, was shot at on Saturday night just outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead.
