It has been a mixed bag for Bollywood in 2025. Some films worked, many tanked. There were a lot of surprises and snubs. 2026 is expected to be grander and bigger with films like Love And War, Ramayana Part One, and KING coming on the big screen. But here are the films you can watch before 2025 ends:
Dhurandhar
Ranveer Singh’s ‘ _Dhurandhar_’ has become one of the most anticipated films of 2025. It also marks the return of the leading man on the big screen after two years. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this action-drama will release in cinemas on December 5. But a report recently said it will be made in two parts and the second part is expected to release in May 2026.
Tere Ishk Mein
Marking a fresh and unexpected pairing, the teaser captures the magnetic tension between Shankar (Dhanush) and Mukti ( Kriti Sanon). After earlier glimpses into their lives, the film’s teaser now reveals a narrative steeped in passion, pain, and the relentless pursuit of love that may remain unfulfilled.
Crafted with Aanand L Rai’s signature sensitivity and visual poetry, and elevated by Himanshu Sharma’s writing, the teaser introduces a love that defies reason - one that destroys and redeems in equal measure.
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri
On the occasion of Kartik Aaryan’s birthday, the makers of Dharma Productions’ Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri have shared the teaser of the romantic comedy that stars Ananya Panday opposite him. The film was releasing on the occasion of Valentine’s Day next year, but is now coming out on the occasion of Christmas.
IKKIS
_Ikkis_ is the untold true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra at just 21 — honoured posthumously for his unmatched courage and sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
This is a story of courage, conviction, and the fire of youth — the kind that changes the course of history and reminds us what true bravery looks like. Through Arun’s journey, Ikkis explores questions of morality, mortality, patriotism, and the power of young blood that rises when the nation calls.
Gustaakh Ishq
In the rush of back-to-back releases of loud and larger-than-life creations, it’s rare to see a film that holds the magic of old-school love and rewinds time. But even in the hustle of conventional releases, the times are changing. Manish Malhotra steps into film production with _Gustaakh Ishq - Kucch Pehle Jaisa_, a romantic poetic drama that breaks away from the clutter of loud narratives.
