Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s separation rumours have been in the headlines for quite some time. These speculations garnered strong attention when Ash attended the star-studded Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant wedding with her daughter and stayed absent from the family pics of the Bachchan clan.
Amid this, a clip of Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan has gone viral from one of the old episodes of Koffee With Karan, where the latter revealed the qualities of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which she loves, hates, and tolerates.
While Shweta lauded Aishwarya for being a self-made, strong woman and a fantastic mother, revealing what she hate about the former Miss World, she said, “I hate that she takes forever to return phone calls and messages. I tolerate her time management.”
In the rapid-fire, when Karan Johar questioned, “Who is the better actor—Abhishek or Aishwarya?” Without any hesitation, Shweta chose her brother, which surprised many.
In February this year, Shweta had shared a cryptic post around brother Abhishek Bachchan’s birthday on Instagram that had the quote, “The female wolf will outlast anything that wants to get the better of her and drag herself to a place she needs to get in order to heal. Maybe there’s something to learn from wolves, or maybe some of us already have.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been married for over 16 years but over the past few weeks, there were multiple reports and rumours about their separation. A report by Times Now said the actress moved out of the Bachchan home.
A source told the publication, “It is for their child that Abhishek and Aishwarya are still together. They have been having problems for years. Now matters have come to a head.” The report added a divorce between the couple is unlikely to happen in near future.
