Film producer and director Hemanth has been arrested by the Rajajinagar Police after an actress filed a complaint against him for sexual harassment. A FIR was registered against the filmmaker after the complaint. It was back in 2022 when they both met for a potential film titled Richie. The remuneration of the actress that was decided was two lacs, and she was paid in advance of Rs 60,000.
What did the actress say in her complaint?
The actress made a lot of allegations against the filmmaker. The shooting of the film kept getting delayed, and after a point, Hemanth began asking her to wear obscene clothes, and perform obscene acts.
She also alleged her drink was spiked by the filmmaker and pictures and videos were recorded on his phone without her consent and knowledge. The actress also revealed how Hemanth threatened her mother and even her with rowdies. The cheque she received from the filmmaker bounced, as per her allegations and complaint.
