Farah Khan and Tennis star Sania Mirza have been close friends for a long time, and they have made multiple appearances together. Mirza has been on Farah’s YouTube show and now, the choreographer and director graced Mirza’s talk show. And the conversation veered into the sports personality’s divorce with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
“I was shivering… If you hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have done that show,” Sania said.
Farah added, “I had never seen you have a panic attack. I got so scared.”

The filmmaker said, “In the beginning, it was very challenging and we used to have a lot of fights when I would force him to come out with me. Sometimes I do tend to offend some of my friends and I am realising it as I grow older that I don’t need to tell them the truth all the time. Some friends, especially the ones in films, are becoming a bit picky.”
She added, “Not just the industry, the world is full of a*****, so they will always hone in on the person who is more successful at that point, so they will only talk to me and ignore my husband, and I didn’t like that, and he didn’t either.”
The IVF journey
Farah Khan also said, “It was quite common even then, but no one spoke about it. Everyone pretended like a stork had dropped the baby into their stomach. I don’t know why it was taboo. I was probably the first celebrity to talk about it openly, and after that, I realised how many IVF babies there actually were. It’s completely legal—why should it be a taboo?”
