EXCLUSIVE! Kalki 2898 AD morning occupancy box office report: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan & Amitabh Bachchan starrer takes an earth-shattering start

The D-Day has come with the humongous release of Kalki 2898 AD featuring the ensemble cast of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The mega-budget product is set to have a humongous big day thanks to its earth-shattering response in the morning shows.

Talking to Firstpost, prominent industry tracker, Ramesh Bala revealed that while the Hindi version occupancy is between 40 to 50 per cent, the Telugu version is insane 90 to 100 per cent. Well, this response is enough to ensure that _Kalki 2898 AD_ will enjoy a record-breaking first at the box office.

Earlier talking about the opening day prediction, Bala told us, “I’m expecting around Rs 100 crore including all the versions Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. So, mostly from Telugu it should do most of the business from Telugu state and Karnataka, then Hindi and then probably Tamil. That will be the order of the same. So overall I’m expecting 100 crore NBOC which will translate to 130 crores of gross.”

With great response in the overseas markets, when asked whether it has the potential to cross the Rs 200 crore mark on its first day at the global box office, the trade expert answered, “It looks like it will do like 3 million in USA which will come to like 25 crores and UK also doing good Australia also doing good UAE It’s also it will do very well so yeah, it has the potential to do like 180 plus to 200 I think.”

Despite being scaled on a massive budged, when question it has the potential to become the biggest hit of the year, Ramesh opined, “See on paper. Yeah, I agree with you. It has the potential to emerge as the biggest hit of the year because it has story which were the stars as Prabhas, Amitabh, Kamal, Deepika, etc. Just to be on the safer side. You know, we have to see how the Word of mouth and the reviews from the fresh show. We don’t want being a sci-fi genre, you know Like we don’t want any surprises on the negative side. Hopefully one is hoping for positive side that it will entertain the audience and there won’t be any negative, you know word of mouth or review. So On paper, yeah, it has the potential by Thursday noon We should be able to tell after one or two shows overall over the world What is the review? What is the word of mouth? Then we can confidently say where it will end in the long lifetime Right now. Yeah, theoretically it has the possibility to emerge as the biggest hit of the year.”
