Is the Beckham family officially broken? Estranged son Brooklyn Beckham sends legal notice to parents David and Victoria Beckham as family feud intensifies

Legendary footballer David Beckham and his wife Victoria haven’t had a fruitful relationship with their son Brooklyn Beckham and the feud in the family is no longer a secret. It’s now all in the public eye. And the conflict in the family has only intensified as Brooklyn has served his estranged parents a legal notice as per reports circulating on social media.

What is the legal notice about?

Victoria Beckham has made attempts to reconcile with her son by tagging in on social media and the notice prevents his parents to do so. According to The Sun US, Brooklyn first issued a letter to David and Victoria last summer, requesting that all communication be handled exclusively through lawyers.

A source was quoted saying, “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heartbreaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents. The reality is that he issued them a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, as he wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly. He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”

“For their part, David and Victoria have simply tried to let their beloved eldest son know the door is always open, and that they still care,” the source added. “After this letter, they had no other physical means of reaching out to him, so what were they to do? They, of course, feel utterly bemused and devastated by this latest turn of events. There is no malice on their part, only concern.”

While social media activity initially suggested that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn, Cruz Beckham clarified that it was Brooklyn who had blocked his parents' accounts, meaning the unfollowing was an automatic result of the block, not a deliberate choice by the parents.
