Dunki lyricist Varun Grover: 'Shah Rukh Khan Khan feels like a real person, Salman Khan like an AI-generated character'

Varun Grover is a multi-talented artist of the industry who can do lyric writing and also effortlessly do stand-up comedy. He’s a writer too and in a recent interview with The Lallantop, he spoke about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and the difference between them. He first spoke about SRK and collaborating with him on Fan and _Dunki_ , and said, “If I get another chance, I’d love to work with SRK again. I don’t see myself working with Salman Khan considering our cinemas are extremely opposite.”

He added, “There are some folks who exist and SRK is among them. He feels like a real person. Salman Khan feels like a person who exists only on the big screen. He looks like an AI generated character. You understand SRK’s personality through his interviews whereas with Salman it feels like one of his film characters is giving the interview.” As per a report by Hindustan Times,  SRK  is expected to make the announcement of his next slate for 2024. A source said, “Everyone in the industry is looking forward and are excited to know about his next step. But he is not in any hurry to sign a project. He has some scripts in his hand, but he will go through them after coming back from his break.
