A film revolving all around family drama between parents and their kids, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was a certified blockbuster as it premiered around two decades back. Now that the film clocks 22 years in the present time, director Karan Johar and Kajol, one of the lead actors in _K3G_ were seen getting all nostalgic. Kajol who took to her Instagram handle to share a few anecdotes, also revealed that the film marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan. Surprised? Well yes, this is the truth. Aryan Khan did have a very brief but important role in the film that not many know about. Aryan Khan ’s debut in K3G If you too had missed the little Aryan in the film, it was the little boy who rushes to embrace Jaya Bachchan in the very opening scenes. Notably, Aryan plays the role of a younger SRK aka Rahul Raichand in the film.

In the meantime, Kajol in her caption recalled several memorable moments from the film. From Karan Johar fainting on the sets due to extreme heat and dehydration to Yash Chopra renovating and making new make-up rooms for the cast, the actress noted that the film was “a truly HUGE film in every which way, in life and cinema!” “22 years to #k3g ..Another acronym but yes another long lasting memory !!! Yash uncle actually renovated and made new makeup rooms in Filmistan studios permanently just for the shooting of this film because even with the vanity vans it was not going to be enough for this gigantic starrer! @karanjohar collapsed and fainted on set because of dehydration in the first few days .. it was really really hot! And this was @___aryan___ ’s debut on screen.. ! It was also I think my first comeback ( not sure about this part tho ) too many comebacks ago ) And the first and only time I stood in front of the pyramids and truly felt them with my soul.. so yes this was a truly HUGE film in every which way, in life and cinema!” the caption read.
On the other hand, director Karan Johar also shared a montage of the lead actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor from K3G on his Instagram handle. Stating that it is his annual reminder that “It’s all about loving your family”, he expressed gratitude to the entire team and also the fans.
