Divya Agarwal, Apurva Padgaonkar share first pics from traditional Maharashtrian wedding: 'From this moment on...'

Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal has finally embarked on a new journey, getting married to the love of her life married to Apurva Padgaonkar. After indulging in her pre-wedding festivities in the company of close friends and family members, their wedding took place on Tuesday, 20 April in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony at her residence in Chembur, Mumbai. As soon as their wedding rituals were completed, the actress took to social media and shared the first official pictures from the ceremony, leaving fans mesmerised.

For their big day, Divya and Apurva were seen dressed in matching bridal outfits, going for purple shades. While Divya was dressed in a dreamt purple lehenga with a pink ombre effect and contrasting embroidery, she completed her look with a matching dupatta and multiple-tiered diamond and emerald jewellery. She also had traditional chooda with kaleeras, along with Mundavalya, as per Marathi customs.

On the other hand, Apurva was also seen wearing a matching purple coloured kurta with similar prints and embroidery to match Divya’s style.

Going by the pictures, while the first one shows the couple flaunting a big smile as Apurva ties the mangalsutra, the second one shows them with family and close friends followed by a candid one of the newly married couple. As soon as the pictures came out congratulatory messages started pouring in from fans and well-wishers from social media. Prince Narula wrote, “Congratulations bachu,” while Yuvika Chaudhary commented, “Congratulations.”

Divya Agarwal’s pre-wedding festivities began last week. They had a glamorous cocktail party with friends and family members which was followed by Mehndi and Haldi ceremonies. Pictures of the celebrations have been shared widely across social media handles. Having been dating Apurva for quite some time, the former Splitsvilla contestant got engaged in 2022 and announced her wedding in December last year.
