With the season of love just around the corner Disney+ Hotstar has released a beautiful and indelible love story titled Sweet Dreams. Starring the gorgeous Mithila Palkar and the versatile Amol Parashar in the lead roles, the trailer has been receiving rave reviews from viewers. Director Victor Mukherjee ticks all the boxes to come up with a story that perfectly aligns and captures the essence of today’s millennial love. While not giving away much, the trailer takes us through the journey of our protagonist Kenny and Dia who define serendipity in today’s time.
At its core, Sweet Dreams follows Kenny, a 29-year-old recycling artist trying to move on from a painful breakup, and Dia, an aspiring songwriter juggling an uncertain career while navigating her current relationship. Their lives take an extraordinary turn when a viral meme bridges their dreams, leaving them questioning the fine line between reality and imagination. Directed by Victor Mukherjee, the story captures the delicate nuances of modern relationships, millennial aspirations and poses a strong question - How far will you go to chase your dreams? Or will you choose reality; joh itni bhi buri nahi hoti!
