How Donald Trump's U.S. win is a threat to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

According to New York Post report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle snapped up a plush pad in Portugal to have an “emergency escape solution” when President-elect Donald Trump moves into the White House, according to a report.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly splurged on one of 300 soon-to-be-constructed residences at the 722-acre CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club — a plush development about 81 miles south of Lisbon.

According to reports published in Mirror, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bought a home in Portugal. One commentator in fact suggested that the move makes sense to anyone who read the Duke of Sussex’s tell-all memoir ‘Spare’ which is a hugely controversial book leaking out the dark secrets of the British Royal family.

Donald Trump’s dislike for Harry and Meghan

It is evident that Trump has got a deep dislike for Sussex. To have an escape route to Portugal is like a plan B for Harry and Meghan. The New York Post report further says, “The wheels could really come off for Harry and Meghan if Trump decides to get involved with his Harry’s citizenship so that’s why they have purchased overseas,” a source told RadarOnline. “They needed a Plan B.” Trump had previously gone on record saying he would consider deporting Harry, 40, because of drama over his visa.

Shattered US dreams for Harry and Meghan

Life in US didn’t end up being what they expected. Meghan’s Hollywood dreams also crashed. Harry’s immigration status and VISA issues are also in doldrums. In fact, he is still locked in a legal battle. The New York Post report clearly says, Trump, 78, first threatened to throw the exiled royal out of the country in February while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.

“I wouldn’t protect him,” Trump said at the time. “He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own.”

Earlier last year, Firstpost had written a story on Meghan’s failed Hollywood dreams which said that Meghan is still struggling to make a place in Hollywood, despite hiring a hotshot agent. Meghan Markle signed with Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor back in April, but the Duchess of Sussex is yet to announce her upcoming projects. Not body know about her Hollywood plans, except for the fact that most Hollywood A-listers are distancing themselves both from Prince Harry and Meghan.
