'Dhurandhar' box office Day 5: Ranveer Singh's film crosses Rs 150 crore mark

Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar earns Rs 28.60 crore on Day 5, pushing its Indian net total past Rs. 150 crore mark in five days. The Tuesday bump reflects that the film is here to stay.

'Dhurandhar' box office Day 5: Ranveer Singh's film crosses Rs 150 crore mark

The spy-action thriller Dhurandhar has proven to be a juggernaut at the box office. The film is continuing its terrific momentum even through Day 5, and it has collected Rs. 28.60 crore, pushing its total domestic net collection past the Rs 150 crore mark.

On Tuesday, the film minted more than Monday, i.e. Day 4. It had already surpassed Rs. 100 crore mark over the first weekend. With Rs. 24.30 crore on Monday and Rs. 28.60 crore on Tuesday, the total now stands at a staggering Rs. 159.40 crore nett in India.

Opening weekend: ₹106.50 crore

Analysts and trade trackers point to several factors behind the strong hold. There has been a Strong word-of-mouth and positive audience reception, especially for the ensemble cast and the film’s gripping spy-thriller narrative.

The film’s success has placed it well ahead of the lifetime collections of some recent releases, making it one of the fastest-grossing films of the year. Given the trend, ‘Dhurandhar’ is poised for a long theatrical run, and is possibly destined to become one of the biggest hits of 2025.

The star-studded cast of ‘Dhurandhar’ includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, along with Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera and Naveen Kaushik in supporting roles. Written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, the film is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The sequel of the film is slated for Eid 2026 release. It will hit theatres on March 19, and will clash with Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’.
