On 12th November, Dharmendra’s family released an official statement after his discharge from the hospital, which read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Hema Malini slams the media

Hema Malini tweeted: “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Why Dharmendra was hospitalized

The actor was hospitalised on October 31 for a routine check-up. He has been in the hospital since then. His team had stated at the time, “There is absolutely no cause for concern. The actor is in good health and visits the hospital often for routine medical tests, which is the reason for his current stay.”

It seems that someone spotted him there, which has led to a frenzy among his fans, but there is nothing to worry about as he is absolutely fine.” However, reports have claimed the veteran actor was taken to the hospital after complaining of breathlessness.
