Veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra, aged 89, has passed away.
The legend of Hindi cinema on November 12 had got discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai and was said to be in a stable condition and recovering well at home. Sholay
This Ramesh Sippy directorial that came out in 1975 is one of the most iconic films of Hindi cinema. And every dialogue is a part of the pop culture even today. Dharmendra has many iconic dialogues from this classic.
Dharam Veer
The legendary actor was at his massy and macho best in the 1977 Manmohan Desai blockbuster where he was as heroic as he could get. This is one of his most memorable performances.
Chup Chup Ke
Dharmendra is effortless in the comic space as well. Reuniting with Hrishikesh Mukherjee for the 1975 Chupke Chupke, the actor shows his softer and sillier (in good ways) side and proved he can make someone smile and not just break his bones.
