Director Neel Jadhav’s ‘Delhi vs Mumbai’ season 2 is a unique concept that beautifully shows how love prevails between people from two different cultures in times when there is so much hate. The first season of Delhi vs Mumbai got millions of views and appreciation from the audience.
This digital series is all about Chirag (Abhishek Kapoor), who lives in Delhi, and his friend, Ruhani (Malhaar Rathod), who lives in Mumbai. Both of them are not just from two different cities, but also live in very different cultures. In episode 1, they talk to each other on the phone and talk about the way forward for their future plans. In episode 2, Chirag, who is living with his mother in Delhi, plans to buy a house in Gurugram near his office. He shares the plan with Ruhani. Since both are living in too distant cities, Ruhani feels a lack of someone who can take care of her when she has a fever. Meanwhile, her neighbour Sawan, who resides in the same apartment, unknowingly comes a little closer to her and offers a helping hand if she requires anything. This twist in the Ruhani-Chirag story creates curiosity in the audience in this episode. So, definitely, the audience will wait to watch the upcoming episodes.
Actors Abhishek Kapoor and Malhaar Rathod are the centre of attraction in this digital show. Both have done a mind-blowing job and fully justified their parts. Apart from them, actor Parikshit Joshi has also made his presence felt in this series.
These two episodes are written in such a way that viewers can’t ignore even a single scene. The screenplay and dialogue are written very much to the point and are quite impressive. The emotional connection between the two is beautifully shown in how the balance is made in such a dynamic corporate culture in Mumbai and Delhi-like metros.
Overall, these two episodes of the digital show ‘Delhi vs Mumbai’ are quite impressive and engaging. It holds the attention till the end and compels the audience to watch the remaining episodes.
