Deepika Padukone to Ranveer Singh after seeing Gully Boy teaser: 'You are unstoppable; So proud of you'

The first teaser of Ranveer Singh-starrer Gully Boy was shared on Friday and it has everyone talking. The teaser features Singh rapping to an upbeat music number, Asli Hip Hop.  The teaser, which was released a few hours ago, was shared by Ranveer on his Instagram account. After an energtic performance in  Simbaa , Ranveer is all set to mesmerise the audience with his rapping skills as shown in the teaser. Apart from his audience who cannot stop gushing, Deepika Padukone too couldn’t stop herself from praising her husband on social media.

 

  Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in Italy in November after dating for six years. The couple headed for their honeymoon few days after Simmba was released. Within few hours into its release, the teaser has received massive shoutouts from the Bollyowood industry. Among his colleagues, actors Arjun Kapoor and Abhishek Bacchan and filmmaker Karan Johar too shared the teaser on social media and praised Ranveer. 

Gully Boy’s trailer will be out on 9 January and the movie is set to release on 14 February. Directed and written by Zoya Akhtar, the film is based on the lives of  rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy, known for their song ‘Mere Gully Mei’ in Mumbai.  The narrative revolves around street rappers of India and their rise from the gullies.
