Vicky Kaushal, who has been ruling the hearts with his versatility and magnetic screen presence, recently opened up about dealing with anxiety.
The handsome hunk shared his struggles with anxiety, how he manages it and his approach towards it. “The best thing to do for anxiety is to acknowledge it,” Vicky told Harper’s Bazaar. Recalling a piece of valuable advice he added, “A senior actor once told me to make anxiety your friend. It’s always going to be there; you just need to master it. Acknowledging it is a great first step.”
The _Sam Bahadur_ star shared the importance of being creatively engaged and focusing on challenges instead of getting bogged down by anxiety. “I’m fascinated by the different approaches in filmmaking. I’m not sure if I’d step into directing yet, but I’m definitely intrigued,” the actor shared.
Talking about Bollywood’s recent shift, he observed, “We’re in an exciting phase. New voices are gaining power, and authenticity resonates with audiences. People are becoming more open to diverse narratives.”
The actor opened up about his choices and asserted, “When I started, I didn’t have the luxury of choice. I auditioned for roles, and the films chose me rather than the other way around.”
“I have always wanted to challenge myself to do the same, to be someone different with each role,” said Vicky Kaushal who assisted Gangs of Wasseypur and got influenced by Manoj Bajpayee and Pankaj Tripathi for doing complex roles.

On the professional front, Vicky will be next seen in Chhava, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the period war drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in prominent roles. It is releasing on December 6.
