Celebrity photographer on Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif's Ibiza pictures of 2013: 'They were leaked by someone close to them and...'

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif went for a vacation to Ibiza back in 2013 and the pictures got leaked on social media. And now, celebrity and veteran photographer Manav Manglani has spilled the beans on the same as to what exactly happened.

Manglani was quoted saying, “Yes, that was leaked by someone very close to them. It’s not a one-night fling, is it? But these are the pictures that go viral the most… The last leak was Ranbir and Katrina on that beach. That was a long time ago.”

Katrina Kaif’s note on the leaked pictures

Back in 2013, the actress wrote a long note to the media that read- “I am writing this to say that I feel most upset, distressed and invaded at my pictures published in a film magazine (and which were carried by other media). The pictures were taken while I was on holiday by someone who, in an act of cowardice, has shot without permission.”

Katrina added, “And then used the pictures for commercial gain. There is a breed of journalism that preys on celebrities in the worst possible manner crossing all lines of privacy and decency. Running these pictures shows support for this school of journalism.”

Katrina Kaif added, “I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have been accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behaviour.”

When the relationship was on the verge of crumbling apart, Katrina Kaif gave a statement in an interview that read- “My greatest fear is that if and when I get married and I am standing at the altar or the mandap, he may not love me completely. That he may not know his mind well enough to be making those commitments. The anticipation of heartbreak is my only fear.”
