Urmila Matondkar returns to screens after ten years with Blackmail song 'Bewafa Beauty' along with Irrfan Khan

Urmila Matondkar has given milestone dance numbers to Bollywood ever since she stepped into the industry. And now that she is missing for more than 10 years from the silver screen, her fans have all the right reasons to demand a comeback. The ‘Tanha Tanha’ girl is finally back on the big screen with a song named ‘Bewafa Beauty’ in Irrfan Khan starrer  _Blackmail_.

The song is composed by Amit Tridevi and Pawni Pandey has lent her voice to the song. Set in a pub, the song’s lyrics mock Irrfan’s character who has an unfaithful wife. Producer Bhushan Kumar candidly shared, “Although Irrfan’s character in Blackmail is in a situation no man would want to be in, the mood of the film is tongue-in-cheek. We wanted a song that would be naughty and humorous without being vulgar. ‘Bewafa Beauty’ is that song. With Amitabh Bhattacharya’s wicked lyrics set to Amit Trivedi’s racy composition and Pawni Pandey’s spicy voice, picturised on a huge, magnetic star like Urmila Matondkar, this song is set to burn the airwaves in an already scorching summer.” Director Abhinay Deo also said that he never wanted an item girl for the song but an incredible dancer and a big star. “From all the names we came up with, I personally believe that the biggest and best name is Urmila. She fit the bill perfectly, is gorgeous and is an incredible dancer — a perfect match for the song and film.” Other than Irrfan, the cast of Blackmail includes Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall and Gajraj Rao. Blackmail is slated to release on 6 April.
