Pooja Bhatt-Sanjay Dutt starrer Sadak 2 will go on floors in 2019 and will have her younger sister Alia Bhatt in a pivotal role too. Though Mohit Suri was also considered, this time Mahesh Bhatt wishes Pooja to helm the sequel to the 1991 hit. Responding to the rumors of her directing the film, Pooja Bhatt told Mid-Day, “I can’t say it’s true neither can I say it’s untrue. All I can say right now is that we roll in February, 2019, and it will be a start-to-finish schedule.” The deal with Sanjay, on the other hand, is finalised but he is yet to sign the papers. Sadak 2 has been written for Sanjay Dutt keeping his earlier character, Ravi, in mind.
