Salman Khan turns lyricist for Race, writes romantic song to be choreographed by director Remo D'Souza
While Salman Khan has lent his voice to a number of Bollywood songs, most famously the title song of Hero, Race 3 will mark his debut as a lyricist.

Salman Khan, who has already given his voice to a number of songs in his films, never failed to amuse his fans and this time, the 52-year-old actor is all set to debut as a lyricist for his upcoming action thriller Race 3.
The Tiger Zinda Hai actor is currently in Abu Dhabi busy wrapping up the Remo D’Souza directorial. Mumbai Mirror reports that when the makers were thinking of a romantic song for an end credit sequence, Salman told them that he already has something him. When asked to read it out, the rest of the team were left surprised and very impressed with the actor's lyrics. Music composer Vishal Mishra was then asked to give compose the music for the same. Remo will choreograph the song that will feature only the Kick actor.
"It’s a lovely romantic track, exactly what we were looking for. This is the first time Salman’s name will appear in the credits as a lyricist," producer Ramesh Taurani said to Mumbai Mirror, confirming the news.
Meanwhile, Pinkvilla reports that the team has completed shooting at the Floating Market and Rose Garden in Bangkok. They will soon shift to the jungles of Kanchanaburi province to can the action sequence which sees Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez running through the dense shrubs as they are chased by the villains.
Race 3, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Salim and Daisy Shah, will have a special song picturised on Sonakshi Sinha. The film is slated to release this Eid.
