Taking off from the where the first trailer left off, the over-two mins video clip deepens the mystery about the unseen force that promises to wreak havoc in a post-apocalyptic world. Sandra Bullock, desperate to protect her two children from the unseen adversary, ventures to confront death as she decides to cross a turbulent river on a ramshackle boat, blindfolded. Much like the John Krasinski and Emily Blunt's A Quiet Place, which was the sleeper-hit of the year, Bird Box plays on the same theme to build the terror, of enforced sensory handicap.

No one has ever seen what the monster looks like in Bird Box. A 'Boggart'-like shape shifting creature, the evil force takes the shape of one's worst fears, propelling them to hysteria and eventual suicide.

Sarah Paulson, Danielle Macdonald, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar and Lil Rel Howery are part of the ensemble cast, alongside John Malkovich, reports variety.com. The script has been written by Eric Heisserer and Susanne Bier is directing the movie. The film start streaming from 12 November.
