Bigil & Kaakha Kaakha actor Daniel Balaji dies of heart attack in Chennai at 48, Mohan Raja & others mourn his demise

Tamil actor Daniel Balaji, who garnered popularity for his portrayal of menacing Amudhan in director Gautham Menon and Kamal Haasan’s Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, died of a heart attack on Friday (March 29) night at a private hospital in Chennai. The actor breathed his last at a hospital in Kottivakam, where he was admitted due to chest pain.

The sudden demise of the versatile actor has sent shockwaves across the Tamil industry. Daniel’s body has been taken to his Purasaiwakkam home for cremation.

Soon after the news of Mr Balaji’s broke, several celebs from Kollywood mourn his demise.
