Bigg Boss 17: Ankita Lokhande defends her mother-in-law's insulting comments, says 'Her intentions...'

Bigg Boss 17 might have been concluded but still continues to make headlines for its contestants. Ankita Lokhande who entered the Bigg Boss house with her husband Vicky Jain was one of the most popular and talked about contestants on the show. While the actress even made it to the grand finale, she was eliminated at the last moment. During her stint inside the house, Ankita went through a lot of turmoil. From getting into frequent fights with her co-contestants to having heated arguments with her husband Vicky, Ankita’s journey was not an easy one. However, things got more complex after her mother-in-law entered the show. Vicky Jain ’s mother, Ranjana Jain entered the Bigg Boss 17 house during a family special week and was seen criticising her daughter-in-law for fighting with Vicky. While blaming Ankita for the fights, she also brought up the actress’ late father in their conversation. This didn’t end there as Mrs Jain after coming out from the house was also seen making startling comments in front of the media, leaving fans shocked and furious. At a time when Vicky Jain has been time and again defending his mother, it seems like Ankita too has similar views as she recently opened up about her mother-in-law’s remarks. Ankita Lokhande comes in support  In a conversation with the Indian Express, Ankita not only justified her mother-in-law’s actions but also clarified that her intentions were not bad. “People will make assumptions and I am not going to stop them, since whatever it was, it happened in front of everyone. But it is a family matter for me. I believe she said certain things to me but her intentions were not that. I have stayed with these people, I know how much they love me. But on Bigg Boss, mumma got a little emotional,” she said further noting that she has been very happy with her in-laws. Ankita also shared that her mother-in-law is just like her. " She will tell you things to your face but her intentions were not bad. She saw Vicky crying for the first time. he is a strong man but when she saw him, her heart sank. Probably, that’s why she said all those things. But it didn’t matter. After I came back, we met and there were no discussions or questions."
