John Abraham has had a pretty decent inning in Bollywood — both as an actor as well as producer. While films like
Dishoom
(2016) gave him commercial success,
Force 2
(2016) earned him rave reviews last year. [caption id=“attachment_3944277” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran
, on 8 December. The film is based on Pokhran-II, the series of five nuclear bomb test explosions conducted in Rajasthan in 1998. After this, he reportedly plans to churn out a thriller which is based on a Spanish film and stars Pink actress, Taapsee Pannu along with Abraham,
reports DNA.
According to the report, Abraham watched the Spanish film, The Invisible Guest and absolutely loved it. He apparently wishes to make a Hindi remake and has even bought the rights to the film. An
earlier report by DNA
stated that although Pannu is reported to star as one of the leads with Abraham, she won’t play his romantic interest. Some other actress has been/ will be roped in for that role. The film, yet untitled, will be backed by Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor’s KriArj Entertainment along with Abraham’s production house, JA Entertainment. It will be the first directorial venture of the newcomer, Lakshaya. The film is slated to kick-off production later this year around December-January.
