Sunil Grover’s new comedy show Kanpur Waale Khuranas will no more feature Kunal Kemmu, a PinkVilla report informed. Kemmu has been replaced by Aparshaksti Khurana.
A source told the publication that Kemmu was replaced by Aparshakti because the former will be shooting for Kalank’s climax in December, around the same time of Kanpur Waale Khuranas’s filming. A source added that the makers were initially in talks with Aparshakti, but the dates did not work out at the time. Aparshakti will be playing Sunil Grover’s brother-in-law on the show, as per India Today .
Aparshakti, who made his debut in films with alongside Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra in Aamir Khan’s Dangal, was lauded for his performance in this year’s breakthrough horror comedy Stree.
Sunil Grover, who left an indelible imprint on audiences as Gutthi in Kapil Sharma’s comedy show- Comedy Nights with Kapil will also be returning to television with Kanpur Wale Khuranas.
The series showcases the Khuranas, a large family that more often than not gets embroiled in hilarious scenarios. Grover will invite eminent personalities, including celebrities and achievers to the show. Adah Khan will be playing Sunil Grover’s wife in Kanpur Waale Khuranas.
