Pari
, she has managed to up the ante. The horror film struck a chord with both the
masses
as well as the critics. It is now reported that the film is all set to release in Russia. According to a
report
by Deccan Chronicle, Pari is getting a theatrical release in Russia; this also marks a record feat as no other female-led Bollywood film has ever got an international opening. The film is slated to hit the Russian theatres on 19 April, adds the Deccan Chronicle report. Russia is also an unconventional market for Indian films today, although it used to be a dominant space during the days of Raj Kapoor. All his films enjoy phenomenal popularity in Russia even today. Pari has managed to open avenues for the horror genre in general. Often touted to be the least-experimented film genre in India, horror films and filmmakers alike will get a major boost after the success of this nerve-wracking horror flick.
