Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed their second baby son, Akaay, in February in London. The couple moved to the UK to keep the pregnancy private. Now that the actress has delivered the baby and Virat has also returned to India for the ongoing IPL 2024, Anushka is also expected to arrive in the country soon. While reports claimed that the actress is returning to India to cheer for her husband, it is not the truth. Anushka, as per the reports, is planning to return to India for her little daughter Vamika’s school admission as the cute lad is all up for her pre-primary education.
An insider, while speaking to the entertainment portal Bollywood Life, informed, “Vamika turned 3 years old in January 2024 and going but the education rule, she will be now going to Nursery in any school as she is 2021 born. The schooling will begin in April for 20 to 30 days and again get closed for summer vacation and re-open in June. Hence the fans can expect Anushka to travel back to India soon.”
When asked about where she will be doing her schooling from, the source added that Vamika may get admitted to Dhirubhai Ambani International School upon her arrival in India like every star kid. However, it added, “One can only wait to see what the parents have planned for their little daughter".
The reports of Anushka’s arrival in India come days after Virat Kohli shed light on his recent two-month break. At the post-match presentation ceremony following his stellar 77-run knock against Punjab Kings during the ongoing IPL, the cricketer revealed, “We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months.” He added, “For me, for us as a family, it was a surreal experience.”
Notably, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma gave birth to Akaay earlier on February 15. The power couple announced the news through an Instagram post. On the other hand, their first baby, Vamika, was born in 2021.
