After Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal’s blockbuster success, Triptii Dimri became an overnight sensation. Despite her brief stint, she garnered eyeballs for bold scenes with the lead star.

The actress recently opened up about facing criticism for intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor and how it deeply affected her.

Talking about online cruel remarks, she said in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, “Roti thi because dimaag khraab hogaya tha ke kya likh rahe hain log (I would cry because I got mad thinking what people were writing).”

The actress shared that her sister helped her process the criticism and said to take ownership of her journey. “Sometimes, crying is the body’s way of telling you to release your trauma,” added Triptii.

Revealing she faced criticism for the first time after Animal , Triptii added, “There was no criticism before Animal, but I suppose that’s the side effect of being in a mainstream film.”

Triptii will be next seen in  Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala  Video alongside Rajkummar Rao. While the trailer of the movie has garnered praises from the netizens, the lead actress is now getting brutally trolled for her dance steps in film’s song titled Mere Mehboob, which is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa of Dream Girl franchise fame, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video also stars Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, Mast Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Archana Patel, Rakesh Bedi, Tiku Talsania and Ashwini Kalsekar in prominent roles. The film is set to release on 11th October and will lock horns with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra at the box office.

After Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, she will feature in Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Vidya Balan in a prominent role. It will lock horns with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again at the box office during Diwali.
