Sunny Deol has announced the sequel to Jaat on his Instagram account and declared he will be set for a new mission.
Jaat, the highly anticipated action thriller recently released in cinemas. Starring Sunny Deol, Viineet Kumar Siingh and Randeep Hooda in prominent roles, the film is directed by Gopichand Malineni. The cast recently appeared in IMDb original series ‘Behind The Scenes’ where they shared insights into what went behind making the film, and their experience shooting for the movie.
Speaking about his experience working in a Telugu film, Sunny Deol said, “The only difference basically is always the language, otherwise there was nothing because cinema is itself a language which we all understand and definitely the fun was that the subjects are so rooted to the nation. We hardly see Hindi cinema doing that off late for a long time and it was fun and one felt excited that one is going back to the roots again."
Randeep Hooda added, “Having worked across the world, I think all movie sets are pretty much the same. The Telugu Industry do take a lot of impact shots. Their shot-taking is very short. Their shots are very short, which was a bit new for me, going from line to line. But I quickly understood why they do it, because they want to make an impact with every moment, every line and that is what they excel at, and that is what is very exhilarating to watch in the cinema. And Jaat has that in abundance, so if you want to be really entertained and exhilarated. You should go watch it and enjoy yourself.”
Viineet Kumar Siingh commented, “Functioning is done in the same way, technicalities are all involved, as an actor I am going to do the same. Only the conversation is a bit like that, there were so many people with whom we used to interact in Hindi. There are many ADs who know Hindi and while talking to Gopi sir, I never felt that I am not able to understand the scene or what he is trying to say is not coming to me, this has never happened.”
