The highly anticipated trailer of Dhurandhar featuring the ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun was launched yesterday amid fan frenzy.
While the trailer garnered positive response among fans and industry experts, director Aditya Dhar grabbed eyeballs when he shared his opinion about the cast’s commitment towards the project, saying many of them, including Ranveer Singh, have worked 16-18 hours a day on set without complaining.

This statement made fans on social media perplexed, as it was the tone of Ranveer Singh’s film director, whose wife and actress Deepika Padukone exited two big projects - Kalki 2 and Spirit, after the makers denied her 8-hour work shift.
“When we started this journey, there was a gap of five years since I last made a film. We slowly got hold of people who wanted to prove themselves. Every actor, every HoD gave their all to the film. It is extraordinary how everyone put their heart and soul into it, which doesn’t happen very often. A lot of times, HoDs get into a project because the money is good or it is prestigious,” said Aditya about his journey of making _Dhurandhar_.
“This was a project of absolute, pure intent of actors, HoDs, assistants, to even the spot boys. They all gave their sweat and blood for the film. Everyone worked 16 to 18 hours continuously for one and a half years, and not even once did anyone complain. Everyone has given their 100%, and that’s how the film happened,” he added.
Bankrolled under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is set to hit the screen on 5th December
