Bringing the heart-warming story of Arjun Sen, an NRI and cancer survivor, Shoojit Sircar’s I Want To Talk has hit the big screen and is striking the right chord with audiences. Abhishek Bachchan has delivered a career-defining performance and got into the skin of the character.

Amitabh Bachchan has now praised his son for his performance and the film and said, “Some films invite you to be entertained… I Want To Talk just does that… it invites you to be the film,” he wrote, adding that the movie gently pulls its audience into its narrative, leaving no room for escapism.”

I Want To Talk has emerged as a soothing yet emotional journey, offering an inspiring and heartfelt perspective on life. While the film had a modest opening at the box office, it witnessed a significant surge due to overwhelming positive word-of-mouth. The movie is earning praise for its powerful message about life and the resilience to never give up.

I Want To Talk celebrates the life of Arjun Sen, portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan, an NRI marketing genius living in the USA. Arjun, separated from his wife, lives with his daughter Reya (played by Pearle Dey/Ahilya Bamroo). At the peak of his career, he is diagnosed with advanced-stage laryngeal cancer and is given only 100 days to live. Despite the devastating news, Arjun embarks on a journey of survival for the sake of his loved ones, making the film a poignant tale of hope and perseverance.
