Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan recently protected their personality rights. Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff have already done the same. And now, owing to the unauthorized use of their videos and images through AI and deepfake, the married couple has claimed damages against YouTube and Google worth Rs 4 crore in their filings.

What does the filing say?

A report by Reuters says, “The actors argue that YouTube’s content and third-party training policies are concerning.”

“Such content being used to train AI models has the potential to multiply the instances of use of any infringing content, i.e. first being uploaded on YouTube, being viewed by the public, and then also being used to train,” the filings by the couple said.

The filings added, “AI platforms are trained on biased content that portrays them in a negative manner and infringes their intellectual property rights, then AI models “are likely to learn all such untrue” information, leading to its further spread.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been married to each other for 17 years. A a compilation of the actor, talking about his wife, has gone viral on social media when he has revealed why he got married to her and what he loves and hates about her the most.

On Koffee With Karan, Abhishek said he loves the fact that she loves him and he hates the way she packs. In another interview, the actor said he didn’t marry her because she was Miss World or the most gorgeous woman on the planet.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were promoting their 2007 film Guru during their international tour, The Unforgettables when a journalist asked the actress about losing herself to the actor after their marriage.

Rai responded, “I am looking forward to babies. I am enjoying marriage. There’s no question of losing oneself to it.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan  began her career with Iruvar in 1997 that was directed by Mani Ratnam. The duo then went on to collaborate for films like Guru, Raavan, Raavan, and most recently, the Ponniyin Selvan series that dominated the IIFA 2024 Utsavam.
