Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been married to each other for 17 years. A a compilation of the actor, talking about his wife, has gone viral on social media when he has revealed why he got married to her and what he loves and hates about her the most.
On Koffee With Karan, Abhishek said he loves the fact that she loves him and he hates the way she packs. In another interview, the actor said he didn’t marry her because she was Miss World or the most gorgeous woman on the planet. Here’s the video:

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were promoting their 2007 film Guruduring their international tour, The Unforgettables when a journalist asked the actress about losing herself to the actor after their marriage.
Rai responded, “I am looking forward to babies. I am enjoying marriage. There’s no question of losing oneself to it.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan began her career with Iruvar in 1997 that was directed by Mani Ratnam. The duo then went on to collaborate for films like Guru, Raavan, Raavan, and most recently, the Ponniyin Selvan series that dominated the IIFA 2024 Utsavam.
Telling this exclusively to Firstpost, the actress spoke about her and Ratnam’s evolution as artists.
The actress told the portal, “I can’t even speak about his evolution as a maker because I have respected him. He’s my guru. So from the beginning, I just say I’m very grateful that I got to work with Mani Ratnam for my first film. Today we as a team get to enjoy the audience celebrating our film and how. I mean, 13 nominations. But having said that, I think it shouldn’t stop at 13.”
