After skipping Arjun Kapoor's midnight birthday bash amid breakup rumours, Malaika Arora pens cryptic note: 'I like people that I can...'

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is celebrating his 39th birthday today. The actor’s midnight birthday bash was attended by Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Mohit Marwah along with Varun Dhawan and wife Natasha Dalal. Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor were also papped followed by Aditya Roy Kapur.

However, amid breakup rumours, Malaika Arora skipped the birthday bash and now she shared a cryptic note on social media, which reads, “I like people that I can trust with my eyes closed & my back turned.”

While the duo made their relationship official in 2019, a few weeks back, PinkVilla reported that they have parted ways. “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” a source told the portal.

“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time,” the source added.

However, Malaika’s manager denied this news and told India Today, “No no. All rumours.”
