Ranveer Singh surprised his fans when he walked out of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. The actor is riding high on the success of Dhurandhar which has created history at the box-office. And if a report by Bollywood Machine is to be believed, however there is no confirmation about the same, Akshaye Khanna has now quit Drishyam 3.
The reason that has been revealed is creative issues with the makers over his remuneration and look of the character.
2025 is somewhat Akshaye Khanna’s year as he delivered to blockbusters with Chhava and Dhurandhar. The actor played Aurangazeb and Rehman Dakait respectively in the films, and his performance was loved by one and all. The actor has still been largely out of the public eye and has not spoken about the success of his films. Amid this, an old interview in which he spoke about success and failure has been going viral.
The interview dates back to 2017, during the promotions of the film Mom which also starred Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. During the interview, Akshaye had reflected on the delicate balance artists must maintain between triumph and disappointment. “I feel it’s very important for any artist, not just actors, to keep equal distance between both success and failure, and keep focus on the work,” he had said, adding that neither should be allowed to dominate an artist’s inner life.
What makes the quote particularly striking now is his admission that success can often be harder to manage than setbacks. “Success will come, and failure will come, as long as you don’t let both affect you too much. Because dealing with success is more difficult than dealing with failure,” he had observed.
