After Hrithik Roshan & Alia Bhatt, Masaba Gupta lauds Vikrant Massey's performance in 12th Fail: 'I cannot believe...'

After emerging as a sleeper hit at the box office, 12th Fail featuring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr turned out to be a blockbuster on OTT. Despite its digital release, the film witnessed a steady run at the box office. The film and impeccable performance by Vikrant Massey has garnered praises from celebs like Kamal Haasan, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Rani Mukerji and others.

And the latest one to join the bandwagon is designer-actor Masaba Gupta. Taking to her Instagram, she shared the poster of Vidhu Vinod Chopra directorial and wrote, ‘Vikrant Massey, I have known you since we were children but the self-belief, drive, ambition and most importantly the willingness to work so damn hard despite being talented was there from day 1. Congratulations. I cannot believe how good you are in 12th Fail. Setting an example for many to follow. This is just the beginning, it’s too damn good. May we always have the courage to #restart’.

Vikrant Massey recently expressed gratitude to the audience in a heartwarming video after 12th Fail completed 75 days of release. The actor said “It has been almost 80 days since our film_ 12th Fail_ has been in theatres near you. The entire team of 12th Fail will be forever grateful for all the love and respect given to the film,” he said, further urging fans to watch the film and also take the kids to the nearest theatres.

“It is your story; it is our story, and this is a chance to watch our own story on the big screen. Thank you for all the love and all the best,” the actor concluded.
